Weekend off to a good start
Friday
- Signed a job offer. Interesting work (nanotechnology), good salary (10% more than my previous position), great environment and benefits. North American travel which I enjoy.
- Caught the Chinese ink painting exhibit at the Cantor. Poorly lit. Underwhelmed. The curator did have secondary exhibitions which is very nice.
- Dinner and champage with my friend Melisa. Her friend Anne-Marie came by. We laughed for hours. It turns out Anne-Marie and I had conversed online last summer. I am going to Yenta for both Melisa and Anne-Maries. Please send single lesbians my way.
- Arrived at Chel's shortly after midnight where I was greated with many hugs and kisses. The puppies frolicked while I caught up on the news and market.
Crashed hard at roughly 130am and woke up at 7. Snoozed for a bit then Peets, an open house in Oakland, and now foraging for food.
I have a very good life; so fortunate.
