Question 1
Mar. 5th, 2010 03:13 pmWhy are you less enthusiastic about Buddhism than you once were?
I think I'm actually more enthusiastic about Buddhism than before - in the sense that my practice is much more disciplined. I no longer practice Tibetan Buddhism; I now sit with a Vipassana group (http://www.imsb.org) and am a student of the Zen teacher Barry Graham.
My practice is non-dogmatic, non-theistic - a book which captures some (but not all) of my viewpoint is Stephen Batchelor's Buddhism without Beliefs.
Thanks for asking!
