Today's 36 hour cross country trip...
Sep. 8th, 2010 02:23 pm...is nearly complete. The East Coast winner this time: Atlanta.
Had a very successful presentation to the customer today. *Exhale* On the down side, I was unable to get a seat on the three flights to SFO that left before my scheduled flight. Dang.
Upcoming trips:
Dallas (finally! - actually, Fort Worth), greater LA area, Houston, New Hampshire. I'm trying to coordinate my New Hampshire trip to coincide with Fall colors.
This semester I'm teaching two graduate classes, Plasma Physics (at a local company, on behalf of the university which is running some special program there) and Theory of Semiconductor Materials. We're having great fun in the second class; the first one is a bit more challenging, primarily due to the fact that the math frustrates the students (and these are students who haven't had a math class in the recent past.)
That's the news here. Going to download a few books before the flight and just relax.
How are you?
