I wish I had time to make comments, answer your emails, tell you all about my day, my thoughts about statistics, stocks, the environment, Max sleeping under my desk, the color of my wife's eyes, meeting a favorite comedian last night, missing queer culture, an old friend becoming a gym rat (= automatic workout partner!!)

I'm stuck in Florida for the rest of the week, and I miss my friend. We make each other videos every day, send about 25 e-mails and talk about 2 hours a day on the phone and it's not enough for me. She told me that she went to a restaurant we go to and a 35 year old guy hit on her all night, last night, trying to ply her with champagne........I got very jealous. I haven't experienced that feeling since 1980 and it's disconcerting.

Tonight, she's at Carnegie Hall at a recital and I'm being a dutiful son taking care of my sick dad. Something's wrong here.
