- Had a major emotional crash last night. I have to realize this is part of the process. It was hard.

- I have started dating. A lovely woman who lives 50 miles away (I'm trying to avoid emeshing again despite being a lesbian!) If you and I are friends on Facebook, you can probably guess who she is. My new gf, MT, is fantastic - funny, smart, had a cute dog, makes me laugh, is kind.

- Yes, my ex knows (I told her first.) We're communicating and seeing each other. Sometimes it's easy - like old friends - other times it's like a searing piece of metal through me.

- My first day of teaching (Tuesday) was awesome. 1 undergrad class which went well (and is totally overbooked - thanks budget cuts) and my grad class had 20 more than anticipated; it was standing room only. Gives me a warm fuzzy. Several students who are done with classes just came to listen.

- Tonight meeting an online friend for coffee at 7:30. I need more socialization and I'm hoping to make some friends in the upcoming months. If you are local and are interested in socializing, just let me know!

I know I've been gone a long time. Hoping to see sunshine soon.

I will just throw this out, incorporate it as you will. Personally, I wouldn't date a woman who just got out of a relationship. If there was a marriage of any length, I like there to be a year since the divorce. I am not judging you my friend, just sharing.
