I made banana pecan bread and it was delicious! The pumpkin loaf, sadly, while tasty had a catastrophic structural failure (not pictured.)


It was ridiculously hot yesterday; we walked up a short distance of Rhus Ridge. I wore my German women's soccer team jersey A-M brought from last year's world cup


Went Kayaking at Stevens Creek Reservoir; the first picture is the water, the second is some goofball photo bombing A-M as she tries to snap a picture of her Vibram 5 fingers

Freshwater!

Earlier this month we went in the San Francisco bay (not too far from the airport, actually) and the kayaks were covered in salt when we took them out, shocking the park ranger inspecting them (they are trying to prevent some sort of mussel from invading the reservoir.

As someone who spends more time barefoot than not, I'm fascinated by the "toe shoes" (as one of the kids at church calls them).
