Observation
Oct. 5th, 2011 07:11 pmCurrently giving a midterm and I must say it easier to be on this side of the desk. Also internet access makes it much less boring.
Right now my heart is going out to a student who is failing this test. Said student knows all the material but ze does not believe in zemself (I don't want to give any identifying information about my student.) If only there were a way I could share this with all my students: you are ok and you can do this. Student has been struggling all semester; the previous semester's homeworks were perfect and I could have used them for solutions. This semster homework is not even being completed.
Other students are asking numerous questions; this student is sighing and giving up. Fight youngster, fight!
