AM
Coursework was excellent; topics included sensory integration and negotiation skills.
Early afternoon
Dentist visit. No cavities, Ma! My dentist rocks; he's in Sunnyvale near 85 and 280. Worth an hour drive IMNSHO.
Late afternoon
40 minute visit to work; a personnel issue was brought to my attention and I noticed some spaghetti wiring taking place in on our our test areas. It's not unsafe but it's not pretty. Perception = reality.
Was planning on joining aninformal Thursday happy hour that's populated by several LJ and twitter friends. When I arrived I was struck by social anxiety and spent 20 minutes in my car calming myself by focusing on the breath. My blood sugar was low and that my brain had pretty much put socializing away to process the electrical configuration I had just seen.

Evening
Gym
30min elliptical, 17min bike, 13min treadmill. 505 total calories; I'll update the HRM info shortly.

Date: 2009-03-28 03:29 am (UTC)I'm going to go out on a limb here and just tell me to STFU if I've overstepped my bounds:
Our lives have an index that are marked by events - graduations, weddings, births, deaths. At the most macroscopic level there's life before Denise passed and life after. The bridge between those two times - always and uniquely - is John.
Jeff, when I read your post (and commented just a few minutes ago) tears came to my eyes. I'm sitting in some Mediterranean grill eating hallal meat, typing on my laptop and thanking the fates, God, whatever that your life is blooming after a long hard 12 month+ winter.

Date: 2009-03-28 10:56 pm (UTC)I needed that. On another note, I just got off Orbitz and bought a plant ticket back to NY for Wednesday. Somehow, I just can't stay away from her too long. Trouble is, I will have to just make it a long weekend and get back here because of business obligations. In another few weeks, it won't matter:)
