A late Thursday recap

Coursework was excellent; topics included sensory integration and negotiation skills.

Early afternoon
Dentist visit. No cavities, Ma! My dentist rocks; he's in Sunnyvale near 85 and 280. Worth an hour drive IMNSHO.

Late afternoon
40 minute visit to work; a personnel issue was brought to my attention and I noticed some spaghetti wiring taking place in on our our test areas. It's not unsafe but it's not pretty. Perception = reality.

Was planning on joining aninformal Thursday happy hour that's populated by several LJ and twitter friends. When I arrived I was struck by social anxiety and spent 20 minutes in my car calming myself by focusing on the breath. My blood sugar was low and that my brain had pretty much put socializing away to process the electrical configuration I had just seen. peters67 joined me for a quick dinner; afterward I stopped by the pub, but my friends had already left. Hopefully next time.

30min elliptical, 17min bike, 13min treadmill. 505 total calories; I'll update the HRM info shortly.

A good dentist is worth going out of the way. We have seriously thought about going back to the dentist we had in San Jose because he was so good -- just scheduling visits jointly on Fridays and staying overnight. Sadly, it's not practical. I usually only need cleaning or to rare ancient filling reworked, but M tends to have long, drawn-out dental issues. Oh well.

Ok, I'll bite. What's sensory integration about? Sounds interesting.
