- I'd like to buy a barbell for home workouts. Why is no one on CL selling one for a reasonable price? Buying it using Amazon Prime seems wasteful (and slightly lazy.)

- I love Fitocracy - maybe you should join and we can leave 'props' on each other's workouts? Yes, that would be great fun!

- Is Stanford too close to Silicon Valley? Interesting read in the New Yorker.

Thanks for the Frank Lloyd Wright article! I've been to his studio in Chicago, toured the Oak Park houses, hung out at Fallingwater but I guess I never realized the graphic artist side of his work. I am always thinking about his statement that anything who is over six feet tall is a waste of space! I wonder if I need to cut myself off at the head or the ankles :-)
